As far as I know, my husband's Hollingshead-Rollins family settled in Massachusetts in 1637 or so, and eventually pioneered to Utah. From home, I watched all 13 presentations, and after 23 yrs. of doing genealogy, my best nugget of information came from Karen. I had never heard the part about where the marriage was usually held. So, I looked at several of my older families, and sure enough they were in the bride's hometown. Now to work on several brickwalls with that in mind. The last part has actually happened to me twice, and I blogged about it...it only happens if we communicate, I'm so glad Gary looked at your name tag. Thanks Enjoyed this.
